Cuewire

For developers who run more than one agent

Run a team of coding agents. Stay in control.

Cuewire puts your AI coding agents on one canvas, each in a real terminal. It tells you which one needs you, lets them hand work to each other, and checks their changes before you merge.

Free for up to 3 agents at once. No account needed.

The Cuewire canvas: a Claude Code agent and a Codex agent side by side, a shared plan note, and a Needs you card asking to approve a command

Works with the agent CLIs you already use, with your own logins

  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Copilot CLI
  • Gemini CLI
  • Antigravity
  • OpenCode
  • Grok
  • Any shell command

What Cuewire does

The hard part of many agents is you

Running five agents is easy. Knowing which one is stuck, keeping them out of each other's way, and checking what they changed is not. Cuewire is built for that part.

Know who needs you, at a glance

Each agent's title bar shows its state: working, done, or waiting for you. Agents that wait line up in one Needs you list, with the question they asked.

  • Approve with Ctrl+Shift+Y and deny with Ctrl+Shift+N, without leaving what you are doing.
  • Desktop notifications, and on your phone with the paired companion.
  • Back after a break? See what each agent did while you were away.

Agents that work together

Draw a wire between two agents and they can talk. One agent asks another to do a task, and the result comes back to it. Notes on the canvas are their shared memory.

  • Tasks can carry acceptance rules, a budget and a round limit.
  • Mix vendors: a Claude Code lead can hand work to a Codex builder.
  • Agents reach only what you wire to them.

Review before you merge

Give each task its own layer: a git worktree with its own branch and canvas. When the work is done, Cuewire reviews it.

  • Changes ranked by risk, and a warning when two layers touch the same lines.
  • A read-only reviewer agent checks the work and writes its findings down.
  • Commit and open the pull request with your own gh or glab.
A review note listing changes riskiest first, collisions with another layer, and a reviewer's findings

Stay under your limits

Cuewire reads your agents' own usage logs on your computer and shows tokens, costs and how close you are to each limit. Nothing from them leaves your computer.

  • Cap how many agents of a kind run at once.
  • Tasks wait when an account nears its limit, and go out when it clears.
  • Several accounts or API keys for one agent, and you choose which each one uses.

Built to be trusted with real work

Never lose an agent

Agents run in a background service. Close the app, update it or lose your connection, and every agent is still there when you come back.

Remote and WSL

Open a project on another computer over SSH, or in WSL. Its agents run there, and the canvas stays with you.

Safe autonomy

Run an agent in a Docker sandbox per layer, so "skip permission prompts" can't touch the rest of your computer.

Your work stays yours

Cuewire never sends your code, prompts or notes anywhere, and never touches your agents' logins. It works without an account.

Your phone as a companion

Get notified, approve or deny, and send prompts from your phone. End-to-end encrypted: the relay in between can't read a word.

Browsers your agents can drive

Put a web page on the canvas. Agents wired to it can read it, click, fill in forms and take screenshots, while you watch.

For teams

One set of rules for everyone's agents

Cuewire Team gives your organisation single sign-on, policies for which agents, models, sandboxes and remote hosts are allowed, shared roles and arrangements, and an audit log you can export.
